Any suggestions for the minimum size body of water a tournament should be held on (figure 10 boat max.) ? Thanks

700-1,000 acres is a good size for 10 or less boats.

If you go to my clubs website you can see where we have had tournaments in the past as well as our schedual for this year. We have less than 10 boats.
