OK gang, lets throw one more effort at this!
Soon (probably April 11) the NH House of Representatives (Transportation Committee and then the Full House) will have hearing on the Winnipesaukee speed restriction bill (SB 27).
The legislators (and me, your humble representative)are sick of all the time and effort we have had to spend on this issue over the past many YEARS. It is time to put it to bed once and for all and then move on.
The key Senators and House Reps want to pass SB 27 with a compromise amendment whereby the speed limit in the bays and narrow runs would be 45 MPH and on The Broads 55 mph. This has already passed the full NH Senate and is now in the House of Representatives. The WinnFabs people don't want ANY compromise and want to restrict you no matter what. DON'T LET THEM DO IT TO YOU !
