It has come to my attention that one of our crew received an email regarding Smallmouth payouts & my crew. NBS takes pride in the fact that we have always run a professional tournament & in order to achieve this we need the best crew. Our crew(friends) have been with us since we started(10 yrs) and we couldn't do it without them. They pay the entry fee like all the teams, they help set up the weigh-in the day before, they get up early to check livewells & park and they stay after the tournament to put the equipment away plus clean up. They must come in early(15-20 min) tourn. day to make sure we are ready for weigh-in and the only bonus is a low boat number. As for the payouts we always show the standing/money on our web site. I made a mistake that morning by announcing we had 59 boats instead of 67.
$200 entry fee x 67 boats = $13400
2680(20% NBS Expenses)
10720(80% payout)
10225 paid out
495($500 to TOC)
NBS has always tried to make our tournaments the best for our customers, teams and families in New England. We currently have $4200 for the TOC plus the fully rigged Ranger boat with Yamaha motor,Minnkota and Humminbird($20,000 value). We are very fortunate to have great sponsors and all the companies that contribute to our tournaments. In the future if anyone has any questions please call me(800-227-7032) and I will do my best to answer them.
